Day Two in Oregonadise!
Oh yeah… So I’m in Oregon for those of you who don’t know. Just so you know, I’m still alive and kicking! Kicking rotten fence posts that is. :D
I’m staying with my brother-in-law’s family over near the coast… Near Coos Bay. They’ve got plenty of work for me to get on, I’m enjoying it so far. Here’s a few “new” experiences for me:
- Running a backhoe…
- Burying a sheep with that backhoe after NEVER touching one before. Interesting.
- Running a 4-Wheeler.. I know right? I’ve never used one :S Love it tho!!!
- Flying a plane for extended periods of time… Apparently I’m pretty good, although I did manage to nearly hit a cloud ;) whoops.
- Helping out on a 1919 Chevy. Got it to (barely) start!
And of course, a few old ones I’m familiar with :D
- Chainsaws!!!
- Splitting wood.
- Ripping my arms open in the berries.
- Chasing animals (I’ve more practice with calves and goats, but sheep are familiar enough)
- Slooow internet ;)
- Wallering girls… but I LOVE it!! Joolee and Shaobia are wonderful girls. =) I don’t feel quite so lonely for my sisters ^_^
- Potlucks.
- Fences.
- Missing my loved ones!

So yeah, today was pretty awesome, but tinged with a little bit of missing home… Make that a lot. But my new adopted family is amazing! New little sisters ^_^ Had fun staying up talking to Nena and Mrs Crane… Sigh… time to hit the hay… long day tomorrow. Bye all!
